Mecklenburg County and the NC Counts Coalition press conference and panel discussion on Mecklenburg County’s preparation for the 2020 Census and efforts to ensure that all residents are counted. The press conference will feature remarks by Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners Chairman George Dunlap, Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles, and representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau. We will be announcing the establishment of the Mecklenburg Complete Count Committee and providing information about local Census 2020 job opportunities. A panel discussion and Q&A with media and local stakeholders will follow the press conference. Panelists will include:
